Wayne Coury, Jr. has been competing and winning races in New England for 20+ years.  His introduction to racing was through his family-owned racing team started by Wayne Coury, Sr. in 1994 at Riverside Park Speedway.  Wayne worked as a crew member, helping his father win a track championship.  His first race in the driver's seat was at the Waterford Speedbowl after graduating from Boston College in 2002.

Wayne has 15 career race wins at Stafford Speedway, Thompson Speedway, and Waterford Speedbowl.

He's thankful that his beautiful wife and 3 amazing daughters support his passion in motorsports.

The PTG Enterprises #10 Late Model Stock Car competes at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT.  Pat Kretschman, Gary Theriault, and Tom Fearn partnered in 2020 to form PTG.   

Wayne joined as their driver in 2022.  The teamed recorded their first win together in 2022 and continue success in the 2023 season with a win, several podiums and top 5 finishes.  They currently sit 3rd in the points standings. 

Coury Racing also competes in select events at other Northeast tracks.

Stafford Speedway is the nation's premier short track racing facility with seating capacity for 8,500, located in Stafford Springs, CT.  The storied 1/2 mile oval track has a history dating back to 1870.  

Drivers and team members from Stafford have climbed to the highest ranks of NASCAR, IndyCar and other prominent racing series.
